R18 Cruiser: The Start

This glorious heritage bike, harking back to the beautiful BMW R5, is powered by a thunderous 1802cc boxer twin. This is a high-quality bike and in standard form it already has some wonderful details that need no change, however, I have some ideas...

This will be a long-term project which I will tackle with patience. The first steps are a seat out of the accessory catalogue and I also want to do something to slightly shorten the rear, without losing the great quality rear mudguard with the lovely detail pressings and curves, lets see what's possible...

My first priority is to allow that thunder, subdued by modern homologation laws, free reign. Custom exhaust? Yes please!
