Project Café Racer 2: Custom Exhaust

For the exhaust I decided to try another local custom exhaust manufacturer, this time Stealth Performance Parts in Centurion, run by Jaco. I visited Jaco’s shop and he has a professional set up, from which he produces great work and very much sticks to his time commitments.
I decided not to do the “under seat” style like last time, but go more for a wilder racing look. Sticking to the colour scheme I wanted to avoid silver and chrome, so we went for a completely new custom pipe, including the headers, in black. The first iteration was a bit too loud (nothing "stealthy" here), as both the catalytic converter and silencer were removed, so I asked Jaco to add a few baffles and tone it down a bit. After this treatment I hope to have the wild look and sound I am after, without being totally anti-social when going for early-morning rides.
For now we'll have to settle for just the looks, as without the fuel tank I can't start it. The sound will come in a later post.
