Café Racer 1: The Paintjob

Well, the name should give it away – I went for a nostalgic Gulf Racing look in the colour scheme and design. The racing number is of course “90” (as its an RnineT). We also did an awesome detail on the wheels in matching orange. And to finish off the build, a period-conform Bell Bullitt helmet in matching colours.
I used a local Johannesburg-based company (Brand Launch Solutions in Randburg) to do the designs for me and they coordinated the paint job (by Paintrikz, also in Randburg) – I just supplied the original parts from the bike and they did the rest. The design process was iterative, but easy – we exchanged a few sketches via SMS and step-by-step got to the look I wanted. I am thrilled with the look; however, you’ll have to wait for the final pictures to see how awesome this paint job looks!
